Weighbridge Weight Testing & Calibration Unit
New City Scales weighbridge weight testing and calibration unit is available for hire. The unit comprises of a six axle articulated lorry, forklift truck and calibrated stackable test weights. A certificate of calibration is always carried on the vehicle and copies are available upon request.

Our fully trained operators have many years of experience and will carry out weight testing/calibration procedures whilst being aware that weighbridge downtime needs to be kept to a minimum. As New City Scales also have accreditation for Weights & Measures self verification, most types of weighbridges can be verified to satisfy legal trading requirements, without a trading standards officer needing to visit the site.  Due to the electro mechanical weighbridge design, regular service contract visits are recommended to prevent minor problems turning into major problems. Options available include both regular maintenance and fully inclusive parts and labour contracts. Agreed visits typically include an annual weight test utilising and a single service visit. However, contracts are completely flexible to cover the specific requirements of individual sites.
New Weighbridges
New City Scales factory in Sheffield manufactures heavy duty surface and pit mounted weighbridges in 8, 9, 15, 18 & 20 metre lengths (or any metric or imperial size).
